Today Ebates is the most popular meta-loyalty program in the world for savvy shoppers. They give cash back rewards and great deals to millions of members for starting their online shopping experience through one of Ebates’ many platforms. Ebates is partnered with over 2000 merchants—including 400 of the top 500 online retailers—from Amazon to Zulily.
Ebates Redesign: Project “Ice Cream”
When I joined the firm in the fall of 2013, Ebates had not significantly evolved the site architecture since 2008 and had not refreshed the site visually since 2009. Due the the consistent year over year revenue growth, internal stakeholders were very conservative about site changes. As their first UX Designer, I began to collaborate with internal leaders in Product, Sales, Engineering and Support to make significant improvements that eventually evolved into a site redesign.
